I went with my friend for the final concert.
PETER GABRIEL !!!!!

He performed with New Blood Orchestra and it was absolutely brilliant! :D
No guitars, no drums, just new symphonic arrangements of old songs. And that voice! :)
Unforgettable experience and I'm still overecxicted. :D
And I hope my friend will share her photos with me. ;)

I've found my old Star Wars CDs, only to discover they're incompatible with my new 64bit system.
But what's a pendrive and a more friendly system at work for? ;)

My internet connection problems has been solved, but I can't shake the feeling it was a little faster before.
I've bought a new keyboard, but it's so lame I have to hit some keys - especially "w", "s", and "n" - with such force, it's super annoying. And slow.
I've changed a header for my graphic community -capricious_muse. It still doesn't fit the width, but at least it's more color-friendly to the theme. ;)
I've been a capper forcapsanyone for some time, but since it's been closed recently I've decided to keep going and start a new community to keep tracks of what I do. I mean I really have to, 'cause I'm absent-minded. ;) It's here:

On Saturday I decided to clean my keyboard properly, which included removing all the keys.
When I installed them back my keyboard seemed dead and the mouse - which is connected to computer through the keyboard - was acting weirdly. Insane I might say.
The next day my keyboard suddenly was alive again. "Half-dead" is actually better description. Obviously people shouldn't just clean their keyboards - we must buy a new one every time the old one gets dirty! Very economical. :/
Then my internet connection went down and all I could do was to wait till Tuesday to inform my internet provider. Password reset, connection reset, my vows that I've checked the cables and nothing was resolved.
So two techinicians came to my apartment to confirm that my old modem is dead (and so is my ability to connect cables), but it was very uncooperative and very much alive.
Finally they admitted they had some global wire problems at their HQ and assured me all my problems will be solved in 6 hours. That was 2 PM yesterday.
This morning my internet connection was still down, so I was very eager to get work, for obvious reasons. ;)
I hope a miracle happens when I'm home again.

I'm taking a shower in the morning.
Suddenly I hear an anguished cry of "Aaaaaaah" from my mother.
I quickly grab a towel and run to her room.
She's laying calmy in bed.
"Something happened?" I ask suspiciously.
"Laying in bed is soooo hard." she sighs.

I was very sick. Then I was feeling better. Then I was not.
Right now I'm on another round of antibiotics and I hope I'll befine better in the end of the week.
Going to work is not helping me much, I'm afraid.
But I'm trying to stay optimistic! :)
I've finally updated my Banners of 2011 post.
I haven't done it in months!
And I made a new post for 2012 here. (Yes, optimistic!)

Fireworks started a few hours before midnight, my mom and I celebrated together for 20 minutes before she went to bed, I entered the world of Assassin's Creed 2 with icecream and a bottle of champagne and found my bed after 5 AM.
It was great! :D

I get up early in the morning (er, 8.30 AM), start to make breakfast and then hear a strange sound...
I go investigating and see that my mother is washing clothes! In the freaking washing machine! That usually takes two hours!
I ask her how I am supposed to take a shower before I go to work, to which she replies:
"You'll just have to wait. Long."
